Back to the Event Site. The lack of cloud cover meant a slightly stronger wind, but still a big kit day.

Much better than yesterday, planing about 80% of the time, and waterstarting much easier with hardly any lulls. The carve gybes now are SO CLOSE!!! I know I'm always saying that, but this time I even got as far as carving the board 180, flipping the rig and moving my feet. I was so surprised that I'd got that far, thought "What do I do now?", then *splash*! Bugger!

I'm also getting far more used to the Carve now, and have grown to really like it. I particularly like the way it cruises through lulls with ease, for a surprisingly long time. We've definitely bonded :-)

As ever, a nice friendly crowd on the beach topped off the general feeling of the day. Nice one.
